After 15 incredible years of service, Tomas who was the Hearing Instrument Practitioner at the 100 Mile House Hearing Clinic, has decided to embark on a new journey and has transitioned into a career in real estate. While we’ll miss his expertise, dedication, and the warmth he brought to our clinic, we know that his clients will be in excellent hands as he continues to deliver top-notch service in his new role. Tomas worked side by side with his wife, Eva, who continues to be the heartbeat of our clinic as the receptionist and office manager.
As we search for someone to fill the very large shoes Tomas leaves behind, Martin and Jana have returned to their roots here at the 100 Mile House clinic. For those who may not know, they started this clinic back in 1997 and worked here until 2009 when the opportunity arose to expand our services to Campbell River. Tomas joined us in 2009, bringing his unique background in electronics and audio recording, which made him a natural fit for our work. His ability to connect with people and his passion for helping others made him a cornerstone of our clinic.
We’ve heard some rumours circulating that the 100 Mile House Hearing Clinic might be closing—rest assured, nothing could be further from the truth. We are here to stay, and we’re more committed than ever to serving our community. In fact, we have big plans for the future, including additional new services! We’re currently training two new students, which will soon allow us to expand our capacity and continue providing the same high level of care you’ve come to expect from us. In the meantime, as we work to recruit a new practitioner and train our future team members, we kindly ask for your patience, as we may be a bit stretched over the next year. And yes, there are some other exciting developments on the horizon…but you’ll have to stay tuned to find out more!
Thank you for your continued trust and support. We look forward to seeing you at the clinic!
